"All I've Ever Known" from "Hadestown" (Flute Duet Arrangement)

It’s been one week since the Hadestown Prophet premiered in theaters. I’ve seen it twice now and I LOVED it! I'm excited to share this new flute cover on my YouTube channel today. I present my official flute cover of “All I’ve Ever Known” from "Hadestown". This arrangement is written for 2 C Flutes.

,Hadestown is a musical, written by Anais Mitchell, that tells the ancient myth about Orpheus and Eurydice and their love ending in tragedy. Mitchell originally wrote the music in 2006, and after many incarnations, it has been running on Broadway in the Walter Kerr Theater since 2019. “All I’ve Ever Known” is a beautiful love duet between Orpheus and Eurydice. After seeing Orpheus’s hope and optimism, Eurydice falls in love with him. Here we see her trying to shed her habit of stubborn independence and attempting to trust, but her cynicism leads her to be wary and frightened at the prospect of being with him. She expresses to Orpheus that she has only ever looked out for herself, but she is ready to not feel lonely. Orpheus addresses his inherent connection with Eurydice and promises to stay with her, to never turn on her. I will share the whole cover on my Channel. I hope you enjoy it! 🪈🌹🎶💔🖤
