Sally's Song (for 6 Flutes)

Happy Halloween! The time has come for my Halloween Special. This year, I present my flute cover of “Sally’s Song” from “Nightmare Before Christmas”. “Nightmare Before Christmas” is a gothic stop-motion animated musical fantasy film that premiered in 1993. It follows the story of Jack Skellington, the King of Halloween Town”, who stumbles into “Christmas Town” and schemes to take over the holiday. This song is sung by Sally the Scarecrow, who secretly loves Jack. She experiences a vision predicting how his efforts will end disastrously. Jack, however, dismisses her warnings and laments her worries and desire for him. It’s a simple melody yet filled with yearning desire and care for her loved one.
